2: Faster processor = ability to watch high def video content 

3: Smaller size = can be used as a reading device without stretching your arms & fits in my laptop back with my laptop

4: Cameras = great for video calling (great whilst travelling) 

5: The auto turn on when you open the magnetic, I know my fridge has had this feature for years, doesn't stop me from been captivated ;)

For me as a travelling type, my iPad2 reserves a mandatory place in my laptop bag, for more than my iPad1 (that my wife is now enjoying).
